16th Annual IFFM Convocation Information

Dear IFFM Chapter Leaders and Members,

Praise the Lord! We are busy preparing for what promises to be the greatest IFFM convocation ever. We are expecting record attendance and record revelation as we focus on the theme: "More Than Conquerors: Equippers | Builders | Transformers.” The Convocation is just a few months away and I wanted to send this information to make sure you and your chapter are on track for maximum participation in and benefit from this year’s Convocation.

So that you will be prepared, this letter is to give you and your members advance notice of some of the guidelines, expectations and fees that will be required for participation in this year's convocation.

As soon as you know your travel arrangements and the time you will be arriving in Columbus, Ohio please send those details to us AHEAD of time so that we will be prepared to meet you at the airport or bus station. When you arrive at the airport or bus station, if you are not met by a representative of IFFM, once you have picked up your bags, call 614-416-8500 ext 5 for someone to come pick you up and take you to the hotel.

When you get to the Holiday Inn Express Hotel on Wednesday July 26th, someone from IFFM will be there to register you for the Convocation and collect $205 from each person BEFORE they check in. No one will be allowed to check into a room until they have paid the $205. The cost is $300 for persons who desire a single occupancy room. Rooms will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Persons who are attending the Convocation from within the US are required to cover the costs of their own lodging during the Convocation and transportation to and from the Convocation. They may call the above hotel and make their own reservations. Be sure to ask for the Faith Ministries rate.

In additon to covering their own hotel costs, upon arrival delegates from within the US will have the following fees: registration will be: $50 for an individual, $100 for a church; and $25 per person for the IFFM Banquet.

LETTERS OF INVITATION

All persons from across the US and around the world are welcome to attend the IFFM Convocation. However, only those persons who: 1.  have been recommended by a one of Dr. Wise’s IFFM liaisons through an authorized IFFM National Coordinator; and 2. who have received a signed written invitation from Dr. Wise will receive complimentary housing during the Convocation.

THIS YEAR, EACH CHAPTER WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED TO SUBMIT THE NAMES OF UP TO TEN PERSONS TO RECEIVE LETTERS OF INVITATION. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT EACH OF THESE RECOMMENDED PERSONS ARE VETTED AND EITHER ALREADY HAVE A US VISA OR HAVE A GOOD CHANCE OF GETTING ONE. FURTHERMORE, MAKE SURE THAT THEY HAVE THE FINANCIAL MEANS TO COME AND RETURN FROM THE US IN A TIMELY MANNER. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THESE LETTERS ARE NOT TO BE SOLD, BARTERED, OR PROFITED FROM BY ANY MEANS. SUCH ACTIVITY MAY CAUSE CHAPTERS OR INDIVIDUALS WHO DO IT TO BE BARRED FROM FUTURE IFFM ACTIVITIES AND MEMBERSHIP.

Delegates are responsible for their own transportation to and from Columbus, OH. (Make sure you travel to Columbus, OHIO. There are more than one cities named “Columbus” in the US.) Transportation within Columbus to and from the Convocation will be provided for registered delegates staying at the Convocation designated hotel. Two meals per day during the Convocation will also be provided at no charge for registered delegates.

FEES

Annual Chapter Fee

There is an Annual Membership Fee for each local and national IFFM Chapter. The fee is $60 per chapter and should be brought or sent to Convocation. Click here to pay this online fee in USD.

Annual Convocation Registration Fee for Individuals

The Convocation Registration Fee is $205 per person. This includes the Annual IFFM Membership Fee and a small fee to subsidize the housing fee for double occupancy rooms and the IFFM Banquet Ticket. If it hasn't been paid for in advance here online, this fee will be collected during the registration and before check-in to the hotel. Only those persons who have paid this fee and who have a letter of invitation signed by Dr. Wise will be eligible to have their rooms paid for by IFFM. The fee for persons who desire a single occupancy room is $300 per person and is based on hotel availability.

The housing is only covered for Wednesday night, July 26th through Sunday night July 30th. Delegates must make their own housing and transportation arrangements to and from the US, as well as, within the US should they be in the country before and/or after these dates and times. The cost of the hotel before and after the Convocation is approximately $130 per room, per night with two people in a room.

School of Ministry Fees

There is an Annual Licensing Fee for Chapter participation in The Wise School of Ministry. This fee is $100. If it hasn't been paid for in advance here online, the licensing fee must be paid before the end of the convocation in order for the chapter to be authorized to continue offering courses under The Wise School of Ministry and for their students to receive official Certificates.

A second set of tapes for The Second Year of The Wise School of Ministry has also been prepared and can be purchased for an additional one-time fee of $100.

Wise School Graduation Fee

Those persons who have completed a Wise School Certificate program and want official certificates, must have their name and the program completed submitted by their National Coordinator along with a $10 fee per person. Graduates who are in attendance at the Convocation will receive their certificates in a special ceremony during the Convocation. The other certificates will be prepared, signed and sent back to the graduates.

Convocation Resources Fee

The kit of New DVDs and Resources to be taken home and used in regular and special IFFM events until July 2024 is $50. If it hasn't been paid for in advance here online, this can be purchased before the convocation is over.

IFFM Banquet Ticket

A special banquet will take place during the Convocation on Saturday Night, July 29^th @ 6 PM. The tickets for this banquet are $30 per person. This is included for those who have paid their Convocation Registration Fee.

AS CHAPTER LEADERS, WE ARE RELYING UPON YOU TO SCREEN YOUR DELEGATES IN ADVANCE AND TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE PREPARED TO COVER ANY AND ALL NECESSARY COSTS. PLEASE TELL ALL OF THE DELEGATES ABOUT THESE FEES BEFORE THEY LEAVE HOME SO THAT THEY WILL BE PREPARED AND THAT THERE BE NO CONFUSION OR EMBARRASSMENT.

*(An additional one-time Fee of $100 for Year I and $100 for Year II is required for chapters who have not already begun participation in the Wise School.)

Summary of Deadlines:

Names of persons to receive Letters of Invitation to the Convocation must be received at the IFFM Headquarters by January 31, 2023. All letters of invitation will be sent from the Headquarters to Chapter Coordinators by March 31, 2023.

Deadline for the confirmation of number of delegates expected to attend from each nation is July 7, 2023. Each National Coordinator should call or write the headquarters by then to relay that information and any travel flight plans.

Deadline for Ads in the Souvenir Journal is July 7, 2023.
