Dr. C. Dexter Wise III

Dr. C. Dexter Wise III has been the pastor of three large churches including Faith Ministries Church of Columbus, OH where he is the founding Pastor. Since he accepted the call to preach at the age of 12, Dr. Wise has helped to win thousands to Christ. He earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, two Masters Degrees from Harvard University and a Doctorate from United Theological Seminary. This dynamic and gifted communicator has preached and taught the gospel around the world and is the author of dozens of books. He and his wife, Dr. Shirley D. Wise, have four grown children and nine grandchildren.

DR. SHIRLEY D. WISE

Dr. Shirley Demory Wise, First Lady and co-founder of Faith Ministries Church is a native of Jackson, NC. Dr. Wise has always been a pioneer. In Baltimore, MD,  she was among the first and few African American girls who graduated from the Western High College Preparatory School for Girls. From there, she received a Bachelor of Science Degree  from Coppin State College of Baltimore, MD. While at Coppin, she was a Charter member of Coppin's Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and a participant in the pilot program Project Mission to inner city elementary school children. She taught many years in the Baltimore City Public Schools as a tenured teacher going on to earn a Master of Science Degree from John Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Wise is the author of two books: Sick and Tired of Being a Minister's Wife and When the Stuff Hits the Fan. Dr.  Wise has served as the First Lady of three churches. Presently, she serves as the Executive Assistant to the Pastor of Faith Ministries Church and leader of the Women’s Ministry.

She and her husband, Dr. C. Dexter Wise III, have four children: Sybil, Sheri (James), Shonna (Isaiah), Ceylon (Ashley) and nine grandchildren.
